Upon arrival at Greater Rochester International Airport, passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, buses, and hotel shuttle services.

The Louise M. Slaughter Rochester Station (Rochester Amtrak Station) is 11 kilometers away from the airport at 320 Central Avenue, in downtown Rochester.

The most convenient way to transfer to the train station is by taxi. To get there, passengers from ROC will need a 10-minute taxi ride for approximately $20.00.

Louise M. Slaughter Rochester Train Station

The Louise M. Slaughter Rochester Station is an Amtrak station in Rochester. Buses by Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority (RGRTA) are available at the station.

Various taxi firms also serve the station to different parts of New York.

The train station is on the northside of Rochester, just east of High Falls on the south side of the tracks. The station is served by three Amtrak routes with eight trains each day.

The Lake Shore Limited operates one train daily between Chicago and Boston/New York City (via two sections east of Albany). The Empire Service operates two trains between Niagara Falls and New York City.

The Maple Leaf serves the station with one train between Toronto and New York City.
